Ah Poor Bird

Lesson ideas:
 - Half notes - 2nd grade
 - Students listen to the song, pat or lightly clap the rhythm and find the "long notes" = half notes. As they learn to sing the song, raise hands whenever they sing a half note.
 - Replace raising of hands with triangles.
 - I demonstrate playing half note bordun on metallophones, then choose some students to play.
