Old Old Shack

I found these lyrics (but no melody) online - from a Pennsylvania Dutch folk song. So, let's use them to add some verses to the above song!

Down home we had an old shack
Way down on the farm,
The bats fly out and they fly right back
Way down on the farm.

Down home we had an old car...
It eats up gas, but it don't get far...

Down home we had an old horse...
Feeding him hay is a total loss...

Down home we had an old mule...
He may look dumb, but he ain't no fool...

Down home we had an old bull...
He eats and eats and he never gets full...

Down home we had an old ox...
When he's hungry, he actually talks...

Down home we had an old goat...
All the tin cans go down his throat...

Down home we had an old pig...
His tail is little but his belly is big...

Down home we had an old hen...
She lays an egg every now and then...

Down home we had an old hound...
He weighs four hundred fifty pounds...

Down home we had an old cat...
He plays with the mice but afraid of the rat...
